These Terms of Service apply to your access to and use of the Autopay platform, including our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, “Autopay”). Autopay is operated by Autopay Technologies AS, Pilestredet 8, 0180 Oslo, Norway (“Autopay Tech”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an Autopay profile, accessing Autopay services, or using the Autopay App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Autopay
Autopay is a digital platform enabling seamless parking and EV-charging across multiple parking operators and countries. Autopay Tech provides the platform technology, while individual parking operators manage and operate the parking facilities where Autopay is used.
2. Your Autopay profile
To use certain features, such as viewing parking history or linking a payment method, you must create an Autopay profile. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up to date. You are also responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
3. Use of the service
You agree to use Autopay only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Your use of Autopay may include:
Parking and EV-charging at Autopay-enabled facilities
Automatic or manual payment for parking and charging sessions
Registering vehicles, payment cards, and contact details
Receiving notifications related to your parking sessions or service updates
Autopay Tech may update or modify the service at any time to ensure performance, improve functionality, or comply with legal requirements.
4. Payments
Autopay facilitates payments for parking and EV-charging on behalf of the parking operators.
By adding a payment method or paying manually online or at a kiosk, you authorise us to process payments for fees incurred.
Payment transactions may be handled by authorised third-party payment processors.
If payment fails, the parking operator may issue an invoice or take further action in accordance with local regulations.
5. Data Privacy
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.
By using Autopay, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
We will never sell or share your personal data for financial gain.
6. Service availability
We aim to provide Autopay with minimal disruption. However, we cannot guarantee that the service will always be available or error-free.
Maintenance, upgrades, or issues outside our control may temporarily affect availability.
7. Third parties
Autopay integrates with external parking operators and selected service providers (e.g., SMS/email services, customer support providers, and ANPR correction services).
Your use of a parking facility may also be subject to the operator’s own terms and policies.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law: Autopay Tech is not liable for operational issues, incorrect tariffs, facility conditions, or enforcement decisions made by parking operators.
We are not liable for indirect losses, including loss of profit, business interruption, or data loss arising from your use of Autopay.
Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid to us directly for your use of the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you through the Autopay App, website, or email.
Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Norway unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
